One thing I learnt a long time ago was never to go shopping with females unless I take a book or a sketchbook. (No, I don't use smart phones). So, on this occasion, I was waiting over an hour for my daughter to finish her supermarket shopping (something that would have taken me 15 minutes if I was doing my own shopping). I decided to make sure I got something out of the wait and so I drew people going through the checkouts.
