Trains And Centrelink

When I need to ravel to Melbourne I often prefer doing so by train and usually stop-over in Pakenham with a relative. I get bored driving but when I am on public transport I either read a book or draw people.

The first picture is a double page sketch. I removed just a bit of the diary to leave the impression of time and date. I actually made a mirror image of one of the travelers where he wears his headphones on th left side and is without them on the right. The bottom picture is one page only.

        The middle picture is of Centrelink where I had some family business to undertake. I actually was called up in about ten minutes, but I think I got a good impression. The little girl playing turned out to be a good component, but she did not stay still for more than two minutes. 

  A funny story about Centrelink is I got an official call from a girl who works there but she remembered me from a few years ago when I included her in one of my Centrelink sketches. I gave it to her. Anyhow she said it was one of her treasured possessions and that it was in the box which she would grab if there was ever a fire in her house!

 Last Sunday was a profitable day for drawing so here are some more pictures from the Portrait Group day.

Sale Art Circle At The Beach

 This was the last Art Circle group pic I did with plentiful digital additions. I was experimenting with some very random stuff which I might explore further in the future. 

  My first fanciful addition was the mermaid as the little girl was drawing mermaids. So, my picture is meant to represent a child's flights of fancy.
