 I took time out from drawing our sitting subject to draw one of the artists (and engineer), Lydia. I am really happy with this sketch where I used calligraphy pen for bold lines.

Below: John was the sitting subject for the group. He has very strong features.

I always thought the name, 'serfs' for peasants somewhat funny and students were always misspelling it as 'surfs' but what if it was not a misspelling?

 Taking relatives to medical appointments is a good occasion for sketching people. The hospital also had some interesting art hanging on the walls.
