Lake Guthridge Goose

I am playing around with my first lake Guthridge drawings and the goose in the foreground adds more interest to the scene.

Lake Guthridge 2, of Geese & Joggers

I liked the particular view so much I made a second visit on Sunday. It was another sunny, fine day. A girl jogging stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a big goose in her tracks. I asked her if she was scared of it. She gave a nervous giggle and made a large detour around the goose to come out on the other side of it! The goose was totally peaceful! Anyhow, that has been logged in my brain as an idea for a future cartoon but unfortunately, I was unable, at the time, to include a sketch of the jogger. The goose sits quietly not far from the picnic table. That man coming towards it suffered no attack from the creature.

Lake Guthridge in May

How's the serenity? Saturday was a glorious Autumn 20C day with sun shining, joggers out and birds hopeful for some scrounging. The birds included geese, swans, ducks, waterfowl and seagulls.

Yep, that's my foot - just had to get in there somewhere.

Baneblade Wargame Club

Thus was a quick sketch I did on Sunday of some blokes playing Warhammer 40K. Players were changing their positions, so the sketches had to be rapid.

Chilling with Chloe

I drew this sketch today whilst sitting on my driveway with my cat Chloe. Naturally, being a cat, she did not sit still for long, so I recommenced drawing her several times util it appears there are a large number of cats accompanying me.
