Next Station Flinders

I've been playing around with a sketch I did of a woman on the train.  Some strange creatures and a new universe emerged from the shadows.

Three Cats

I've been doing a lot of quick sketches in my note book. here is one of my three cats.

Some artistic license is shown with details and the cat's 'pose' had changed by the time I took the photo.

Melbourne Sketchbook 2018

These are from my ideas book, an old desk diary, hence the lines. I erased most of the lines but the remainder become part of the picture.

Below is a drawing i did of some unsuspecting passengers on a Melbourne train.

This Melton (just West of Melbourne) codger didn't appreciate me asking him how he was. He liked it less when i drew his picture on the bus.

Somehow his nose just got bigger and bigger. But as Confucius says, 'Never cross a cartoonist'.

Gippsland Sketches May- July 2018

I usually carry an old desk diary around and as I rarely use them for their intended purpose I draw things around me.  When i scanned the pictures I erased most of the lines and dates but left some as part of the pictures

Strictly speaking these are not cartoons but I'll use them as reference materials for cartoons.
